Went fishing with 2 buddies on Friday. We floated the Yuba River from Daguerre Point Dam down about 7 miles. Had a fair day - hooked 7 fish. One was 18" and the next largest was around 16". That wasn't the highlight, though. The best part of the trip was that we saw NO ONE. Having exclusive drift boat access to this part of the river has the benefit of fishing without all the pressure. Fish seemed to be taking rubber legged stones, WD-40's size 18, and had success swinging olive wooly buggers. Give me a call- 916-224-7444 - if you want to float this section of the Yuba.
